U.S. Nationals: The First Predictions, John Lohn

Swimming World Senior Writer John Lohn was nice to join in on the prediction fun and submit some predictions for Nationals. I am going to start my (hopefully) many prediction posts with these of John. Some of his notable picks include Liz Pelton to win the women's 200 IM and Elizabeth Beisel the 400 IM, Kim Vandenberg winning the 200 fly, and Ricky Berens taking second in the men's 100 free. He believes Ryan Lochte WILL swim both IM races, which will be a key determining factor in many of the races at Nationals and thus the prediction contest. He has Missy Franklin making the team in the 100 back and both free relays but no such love for Amanda Weir. He has Chad LaTourette taking down Peter Vanderkaay in the men's mile and Michael Phelps making a mark in the 200 back. Enjoy!
